Testing, only what is necessary .
A test report is not a goal in itself, but evidence. We determine which standards apply to your product, arrange the samples with your supplier, and perform measurements in our own laboratory. If a test fails, the retest is included.
Does this apply to you?
Testing begins with the question of which standards apply. Without that answer, you pay for measurements that prove nothing. Or you might miss the very measurement that counts.
You need reports for your technical file
Without measurement, there is no substantiation. Without substantiation, there is no declaration that holds up. We determine which tests are needed and perform them.
You do not know which tests are required
The list of standards for a directive is long, and most of it does not apply to your product. We trim that list down to what is actually applicable.
A customer or platform requests reports
Buyers and marketplaces now request the underlying reports, not just the declaration. We provide what they expect to see.
You send the product, we do the rest
The measurement is the smallest part of the work. Determining what needs to be measured and getting the samples on the table is the largest part. What is required from you fits into a single line.
determine which standards apply to your product and which tests follow from them, so you do not pay for measurements that add no value.
contact your supplier ourselves for the necessary samples, so you do not have to have that conversation.
measure your product in our own laboratory and keep you informed of the progress.
advise on what needs to happen if a test fails, from a product modification to a different route.
retest after that modification, as the retest is included in the price.
provide what you have: your product details and the contact at your supplier. We collect the samples ourselves. That is all there is to it.
No stack of reports. One file that is complete.
This contains the list of standards with the reason why each standard applies, the measurement reports from our laboratory, and the integration thereof into your technical file.
If a regulator, customer, or platform asks for evidence, you simply forward it. With a measurement underneath that covers your product.
Would you like to know what testing costs for your product?
Send us your product details. Within 24 hours, you will receive a price indication, including the tests involved.
Frequently asked questions about Product testing
The questions entrepreneurs ask us most often about this. Is your question not listed? Call or email us.
Do you perform the testing yourselves?
Yes. We have our own testing laboratory and measure your product there. That removes a link in the chain and keeps the scheduling in our hands instead of an external lab’s.
How do you obtain samples?
We collect them ourselves from your supplier. We establish contact, explain what is needed, and keep a close eye until the units arrive. This is usually the slowest part, so we take it over.
What if a test fails?
Then we tell you what needs to be done and why. Often it involves a modification that your supplier can implement. The retest after that modification is included in the price, so a setback does not cost you a second quote.
What does testing cost?
That depends on the number of standards that apply. A product with a switching power supply and a radio requires more than a simple device. You receive a fixed price in advance, including the retest.
How long does it take?
Usually a few weeks, the majority of which is spent waiting for samples. We perform the actual measurement in our own laboratory and schedule it ourselves.
Are you a notified body?
No. For most products, one is not necessary, as the manufacturer declares compliance themselves based on their technical file. If a notified body is required, we will inform you and guide you through the process.
