The reporting code list is an overview of heat pumps that have already been assessed within the subsidy scheme. Each approved device receives a reporting code that private and business applicants enter in their application. If your device is not listed, the applicant must provide the documentation themselves. <\/p>\n\n
For you as a supplier, this is the difference between a product that quickly ends up in a quote and a product that first causes discussion. When in doubt, installers and advisors choose the device they can offer without extra work. <\/p>\n\n
The list is updated regularly. Your product information must therefore adapt whenever you modify a version or withdraw it from the market. <\/p>\n\n
A device with a reporting code provides the installer with certainty, the advisor with speed, and the end customer with confidence. No additional documentation needs to be requested. Furthermore, there is less chance of discussion regarding specifications during the processing of the application. <\/p>\n\n
An application can sometimes still be submitted without a reporting code. The applicant then provides additional documentation themselves. If the device then turns out not to meet the conditions, a rejection will still follow. That risk lies with your installer’s customer, who will subsequently attribute it to the product. <\/p>\n\n
The scheme sets requirements for the type of heat pump and its performance. Since January 1, 2024, a minimum energy label of A++ applies to the device in most cases. Air-to-air heat pumps fall outside the scheme, unlike air-to-water, ground-to-water, and water-to-water heat pumps. <\/p>\n\n
In addition, you must substantiate the performance: space heating, domestic hot water where applicable, sound power level, and the refrigerant used. These values must be identical in all documents. <\/p>\n\n
Please note that the conditions are determined per subsidy year and are therefore subject to change. Separate rules may also apply to devices with higher capacities. Therefore, always check the current reporting code list and the conditions at the RVO before compiling a file. <\/p>\n
A common mistake is providing a package label, which is the combined label of the heat pump with a controller or solar water heater. The energy label of the heat pump itself is required. These two labels show different values, which is immediately noticed during the assessment. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
A complete file contains the energy label of the device itself, the product fiche, the calculation of the technical data, and the test report where required. This also includes the EPREL registration number with the product link and the substantiation of refrigerant and sound power level. <\/p>\n\n
